KHOU: Houston strip club owners face City Hall fight

Houston brothers Ali and Hassan Davari — owners of Treasures, Gold Cup, Trophy Club, Cover Girls, Solid Platinum and Splendor strip clubs — are planning to open Patio Pub in the 5300 block of Washington, near Detering, KHOU-TV reports on its website. Despite concerns from city officials and neighborhood residents, the brothers' attorney says plans call for a sports bar, not a strip club.
