Vernon Police: Exotic Dancer Hits Patron With Beer Mug
VERNON A stripper who became angry that a patron was taking pictures of her while she was dancing was arrested early Monday after she smashed a beer mug on a man's head, police said.
Teonna Jean Rogers, 28, of Clark Street in Hartford was charged with third-degree assault and breach of peace, police said.
The assault happened shortly after 1 a.m. at the Sweethearts Gentleman's Café, 65 Windsor Avenue, police said. Rogers became upset when she saw a customer taking pictures of her while she was on stage. She began yelling, they said.
She grabbed a beer mug and smashed it on a patron's head — although the victim of the assault was not the man who had been taking her picture with a cell phone camera, Officer Dan Champagne said.
The victim had a bleeding head wound, but did not want to go to the hospital.
Rogers was released on a promise to appear in court on April 5.

Unless this stupid bastard had a high tech cellphone camera the pictures of this dancer probably aren't even recognizable! It only takes one moron to ruin it for the rest of us rule abiding titty bar patrons. Pretty soon they won't even allow cellphones in strip clubs if there are any more unfortunate incidents like this one.

Miss Rogers' little temper tantrum with the beer mug to a customer's head was not a very effective way of protecting her off-the-job privacy. Now the entire town can see her mug shot in the paper and knows she worked at Sweetheart's Gentlemen Cafe- or at least did on the night of the incident. Like the poster above said, its not likely a cell phone in a dark club is going to take much of a photo anyways. Smooth move there, lady!
