Friend Finder sites

Hey, how's it going my lecherous friends? I just got stationed to a new area of the country and moved into my new apartment yesterday. I definitely want to start sampling some of the local "comforts" and was contemplating buying a membership to either Adult Friend Finder or GetItOn.com. Anyone ever used either of those or heard about them from others? Are they worth or just scams full of fake profiles and credit card double charges?

Thanks for the help.

Snake,

If you have to ask, "Are they worth or just scams full of fake profiles and credit card double charges?", I think you already know your answer, but I do know a couple of my biker friends that did well on match.com.

However, I believe they are the exceptions rather than the rule.

^^^^ I agree...waste of money. Just get out and meet some women.

One reason I would not want to use those sites is because you have to post details and pictures of yourself if you expect any of the ladies to want and meet up with you.

Yes, they're scams. The profiles on the site are not real.

Snake,

Get a Harley. Much better at attracting women, and "free" ones at that.

roll up a couple hundred bucks in singles and stuff it deeply into your front pocket.

Cheaper than a Harley.

Works like a charm.

Especially when you pull it out.

OK, Clubber, I will confess: when I was a teenager I rode a lot of dirt bikes in the desert in suburban Tempe, AZ. When I was in college, I tried road bikes as they were cheaper than cars, and faster than my bicycle. I couldn't do it.

I always felt in jeopardy and totally at the mercy of cars. Yes, I know that bicycles are much the same, but at least with a bicycle, I could ride on the sidewalk when traffic got heavy and no one really cared too much.

I just cannot do the motorcycle thing. My Dead Uncle Jack (for whom I am named) would be so ashamed.
