It seems to me that I have not found anyplace in the entire us that is as guaranteed in terms of extras as Henry the 8th southgate. After going there many times, even though the talent is hit or miss, it really is a unique place. The Metro Detroit area in general seems to be the strip club capital of the US in terms of extra's, does anyone know of any other places or cities where it's comparable to Detroit in terms of availability or obvious extra's? I would assume East St Louis but know of no other places that can compete in terms of no hassel extra's being offered so obviously.
I have been to the Moonlite Bunny Ranch in Nevada. It's a brothel with a stripper pole, so I guess that's what qualifies it for TUSCL (the stripper pole.) If you've seen the HBO show, you know all kinds of menu items (three-ways, orgies, midgets, etc.) are available whereas Henry's Southgate has a limited fast food-type menu (HJ, BJ, FS, etc.) Probably the biggest difference between the two is cost. With the house taking half of whatever a gal negotiates at the Ranch, Henry's is far cheaper.

FWIW, The Bunny Ranch has a full bar with drinks priced at normal bar prices. I think it would be a VERY INTERESTING place to have a beer (or bottled water), people watch, etc.

Having just left Houston, I can say that there's some light extras available, but it's not like Bogart's or Fight Club in Inkster. I haven't tried the Henry the 8th clubs near Detroit, but if their like Bogart's there aren't many clubs in the US that offer that kind of service consistently. Which is too bad - there's obviously a need, and if it were decriminalized, we'd soon see a surge in above-board, high-quality places without all the shit associated with SCs today.
Okay, enough of my soapbox. I think if you live near and/or can visit places like Bogart's and Henry the 8th with any frequency, you're a lucky man, as they're quite rare in these parts.
There are seveal clubs in Bridgeport CT, that are as certain for a full menu from almost all the dancers as is Henry VIII, among them Teddies (before their legal problems) and Pleasant Moments. Others in the same class: Sights in Newark NJ, Carnival Bookstore in Brooklawn NJ, CT Bookstore in Gary IN.
I know of other clubs inside the U.S. (e.g., Hawaii Theater in City of Industry, CA) and outside the U.S. (e.g, Hong Kong and Adelitas, Tijuana) that can rival Henry VIII for easy to negotiate extras. I don't know of any other metro areas in the U.S. that can rival the Detroit Metro Area (includes Inkster and Lincoln Park, etc.) for the quantity and quality of "extras-friendly" SCs.
Legalize prostitution? Now, there's an idea I could get behind!
Be adventurous and venture north into Canada to the Toronto suburbs (Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan). You will be amazed. As reliable as H8S but younger, hotter dancers.
My understanding is that the prices at many NV brothels are extremely high. It is tailored more toward high earning executives and professional athletes, etc. I most likely wouldn't buy any services there.
However, I'd still love to visit and look around at the bar.
Digitech, THAT'S exactly what folks should do there. If you've seen the show, the hostess will ring the door bell to summon the gals for lineup. Then they each get to smile and say hello and that's it. It's then all impulse selection by the guy. Instead, if you turn down the lineup and head for the bar, it's all casual and the gals can be 'interviewed' (for lack of a better term.)
That said, I was surprised when one time I heard the Bunny Ranch gets a lot of business from truckers. I wouldn't usually think of them as high rollers -- but their lifestyle fits (long hours away from home, etc.)
I've been to the Nevada brothels a couple times and both were small, grungy shacks practically out in the middle of nowhere. They featured 4-7 level girls who service clients in sloppy and dirty trailer-park type bedrooms. Their ads were also way off the mark. One (I believe it was Sheri's) advertised all kinds over-the-top experiences (including a bath session), but when I got there and inquired about it, they looked at me like I had two heads (and I'm not referring to ogling my small head, as I'd hoped). Rather than a hot bubble bath with a bodacious naked babe in a Pocono's style tub, I got to sit by myself in a tub of tepid water unworthy of Motel 6. I laughed at the ludicrousness of it all, and vowed never to go back.
IMHO, this is NOT how to do legalized prostitution. Europe, Canada, and even Mexico got this figured out way better than we do.
And as for the brothels being for high-rollers, that may be partly the perception due to the astronomical prices quoted on their "menu" after you go to the room. They make VIP rooms at SCs seem like a bargain. And compared to German FKKs, it's highway robbery. You can apparently bargain them down, but why do they have to make the process so damn difficult and unwelcoming?
All in all, legal brothels seem like a no-brainer must-visit when in Vegas or Reno, but my two experiences will cause me to avoid in the future. You enjoyment and dollar will go much further at Bogart's/H8.
I visited the brothels around Carson City. They were nice and clean, and the price were a bit high compared to getting strippers to do OTC, but nothing crazy. Girls were good looking. Can't speak for the rest of NV!
Dougster - My two experience were once around Reno (years ago at a place called the Moonlight Ranch, I think), and the other in Pahrump (Sheri's), about an hour outside of Vegas. At least for me, I thought they both were very underwhelming. The girls were ~6s, prices high, sex rooms like a sloppy dorms, hustle galore, and just about zero eroticism.
I couldn't get out of my mind that they should've been fantastic - for once, legal sex with the kind of girls I'd seen on TV. It was everything except that. Maybe around Carson City they're better? At this point, I've written them off. If I ever go to legal house of prostitution again on this continent (as opposed to in Europe), I'd probably try the ones in Tijuana, or maybe the escorts in Canada.
What is kind of strange is Bogarts and H8S are no longer on the top 100 list but Deja Vu Showgirls - Saginaw, Michigan is now in the top 10 and previously not listed on the top 100

Also Bogarts in Inkster, MI is about 20-30- minutes away from Southgate and the extras are just as easy there.
