(NewsCore) - A Minnesota man is facing felony charges after he built a "vibrator bomb" that he intended to give to one of his ex-girlfriends, The Smoking Gun website reported Thursday.

Terry Allen Lester, 37, customized the black vibrator, placing “gun powder, BB shot and buck shot from shotgun shells" into it along with "black and red wires that connected to a trigger with a battery port,” according to the criminal complaint.

Two people in Waseca, Minn., whom Lester had recently been staying with, called cops to their house on Jan 1 after they discovered the suspicious items he had left behind.

According to the complaint, Lester had told his former roommates that he planned to give the sinister device to one of three ex-girlfriends as a Christmas present, telling them his relationships with them had "ended badly."

“He told them when the device was inserted into the female he would pull the trigger and it would blow them up,” the complaint read.

Investigating officers uncovered more sex toys among Lester's possessions, including a pink vibrator with the message “Merry X-mas B**ch” written on it.

Lester had been previously booked for a string of offenses including domestic assault and driving under the influence, The Smoking Gun reported.

He is currently being held in the Waseca County jail, charged with possession of an explosive/incendiary device and making terroristic threats. He faces a maximum 10 years in prison if convicted
