ATM'S one should watch out for...

Beware....Fake ATM'S

You have probably read that less than trustworthy people are operating private ATM machines in bars,  night clubs and harming innocent consumers.

I have a close friend who personally lost money in one of these.  Trust me, they are fake, but look real.

Below is a good example of one of these notorious ATM machines, which take deposits without any
trouble, but consumers seem to be having trouble making withdrawals.
Obtaining a receipt is nearly impossible, so the compliance process cannot get started.

Have you seen one of these in your area?

If you find one like this, call me immediately.

I'm guessing you're trying to upload an image?

Yes.   If I have my e-mail account open when I come to this blog entry, the picture shows (it was a cut-and-paste from an e-mail.)   When I just closed my e-mail account, the picture here vanishes with only a red appearing in the top, left-hand corner where the image would appear.   Yet that doesn't happen with the "Assicons" cut-and-paste I did the other day?!?   Too bad.   The girl, er stripper, in this fake ATM piece is pretty hot!

Are you using the "Insert/Edit Image" button on the input tool bar, or just the normal "ctrl-v" windows style paste command?  If the latter, try the former.  If the former, try the latter. :)

I have noooo knowledge of the "Insert/Edit Image" button on the input tool bar... was trying the Ctrl-v method, which has worked seemingly every time prior.   Donde esta "input tool bar"?

Underneath the "Add Your Comments Here" title on this page, is there a toolbar that looks similar to the one you might find in Word or other application?  And in that tool bar, do you see a little picture that looks (a little) like a mountain with a circle above it?  If so, that's the one I was talking about.  If not, then either you're using an operating system or browser that doesn't support the control used on the blog comments, or you have a security setting that prevents you from seeing it.

Georg, I see the mountain with the moon.   When I click on it it gives me the chance to browse my PC for material.   Only the photo is in my e-mail account, stored on the host's server.   Not sure as to how to put it on my PC so I can upload it.   CT

CT, if it's actually embedded in an email message, right click the image and choose "Save As".  The precise wording may be different, depending on your browser, but it should be something like that.  Then choose the location on your computer to which to save it.  When it's saved, click the mountain icon again, and navigate to the location you saved the picture and select it.

Ugh.   Most of that worked... got her photo onto my desktop.   Then I click on the mountain icon and can't get the path to the picture to come through in the URL address box.   Ugh.
