Wow interesting. SR Dallas I think also has a free admission pass on their website (I think it has one for every location except Vegas).
Just goes to show females should not be managing strip clubs. I heard of a female floor manager who was working at kahoots and according to a dancer she would constantly walk around and tell guys "hands off" or terminate their dances in the middle of it just for minor things like touching their hips.
I guess one of us could call and ask SR Dallas about their bachelor parties to verify this story about them wanting to charge double the cover but I don't feel like it...
something doesn't smell right withn that whole review!
1st after being gouged for admission, being gouged on seating and then when he's gouged on the grey goose bottles then he says he's getting a little upset at that point? huh? just a little?
then he says he has to pay 35 bucks for a stage dance for the bachelor? every club i know would drag the bachelor up there for free.
then the cops show up and tell them the club wants them to leave and after all of that he gives ratings of 7 each for club and value ratings?
Like every story, there is the club's side, the customer's side, and the truth is somewhere in the middle. But I tend to think the problem laid more on the customers.
"...over 20 guys" with ".....over $2500 with me" ?? Sounds like a bunch of cheapskates to me. There is more to this "story" than what is posted in the review.
"The other possibility is that his party was a bunch of drunk assholes"
"Unless of course they were drunk and obnoxious."
"Sounds like a bunch of cheapskates to me."
Once was in a club where 1/2 the tables had been reserved for a bachelor party. A dancer came by to say hi and I said she must be cleaning up with the party. She laughed bitterly, basically said they were cheap, drunk, obnoxious jerks, who weren't get any dances and kept trying to get the dancers to show them their tits for free.
She cuddled up to me and asked if she could hang out with me so she didn't have to go work the party again, which was fine with me.
I recommend to everyone please do not ever have a Bachelor Party here or waste your money at this club. I spoke with Marasol in person the day before my group was to be at SR in regards to throwing a Bachelor Party here for by brother on 9/30/10 . After her telling me that she was going to charge me double the cover charge for throwing the party there which i thought was completely unfair since i was bringing over 20 guys to the party and wanted to pay for their covers i asked if i could come before my party arrived and pay for everyone in my groups cover so they wouldn't have to pay anything at the door and she told me that it would not be any problem at all.I came to the club with over $2500 with me, decked out + all the money my party had. I come to the door and hand the bouncer $200 and tell him this is the cover for everyone that will be with my party. He rudely says no way and you have to pay $200 now and each person has to pay another cover at the door. The cover to enter this club is only $10 for every single person who comes here and they insist that i have to pay double again. So i wait outside for my whole party to arrive and pay them for their entrance to get in the club. When we walk in the club together the waitresses run to all the tables to where we were going to sit and put reserved markers on them so none of my party can sit down.I ask what's up and they tell me i have to pay $10 a chair to have people sit down at those tables. So i pay an additional $120 so my party has a place to sit. All of my party starts buying top shelf there and spending money so i ask the waitress if i can buy bottle service and what it would cost for a couple bottles of Gray Goose. She tells me the bottles of Goose are $150. I tell her give me a couple bottles to start. She disappears and tells me that i have to pay $200 a bottle now. I'm upset at this point and see this blond haired manager and ask if i may speak to her. She tells me that any questions i have to ask to say to the bouncer standing next to her and he will tell her like a 3rd party kids game of telephone. I give up and tell my party we'll just buy our own drinks. I go to the DJ booth and ask for what it cost for a Bachelor Dance on stage and he says $35, i give him the money for the dance and tip each of the girls $10 and say take care of my brother. The DJ says they will be up in a half hour to just wait for the dancers turn to be on stage. I sit down and out of no where a group of officers walk in the door and approach my party and say the bouncers would like us to leave. I ask did we do anything wrong or please explain what's going on. The officers just say if you don't want any problems and go to jail your whole party has to leave. Nobody in my party did anything wrong, started any fights or anything like that. We are a very classy group just looking to have fun and the staff just made us feel like animals.
