kinda sounds like an escort service ripoff attempt to me. _____________________________________________ Naked man flees alleged kidnappers Published: Thursday, September 02, 2010 LORAIN — A 27-year-old Lorain man told police he jumped off a balcony and fled naked from a Tower Boulevard apartment to escape a kidnapping, according to a police report. The man claims he got two calls from a 19-year-old woman at the apartment earlier in the day inviting him over to have sex. Because he was suspicious, the man said he left his jewelry and wallet in his vehicle and parked it at an apartment complex across the street. He went to the door and the woman let him in to the apartment. As they undressed and got on the bed, the woman's bother, Tyrone White, 18, and another man jumped out from hiding, attacked him with a Taser, then tried restraining him with duct tape, according to the report. The man said he was able to fight off his attackers and jump from the third-floor balcony. The 19-year-old woman and White told police the man showed up at the apartment with two other men, pushed her out of the way when she answered the door and attacked White, according to the report. They said the other two men did not enter the apartment and fled when the woman started screaming. White also told police he believed the man was the shooter or a person involved when he was shot in the leg Aug. 18. The third suspect told police he was in another room of the apartment with the woman's baby and did not see the attack. Several witnesses told police they saw the man arrive at the apartment alone and saw him run away naked. One man said he gave the man a pair of shorts to wear. White's stepfather returned home and gave police permission to search the apartment. Officers found the victim's clothes, his keys, a roll of duct tape in the garbage can and a long piece of duct tape with hair on it, according to the report. White was charged with robbery and kidnapping and was taken to Lorain City Jail. Lorain police Sgt. Mark Carpentiere said charges have not been filed against White's sister or the other suspect, but the case is still under investigation.

    Never go to a girl's place you don't know or trust. I've been to dancer's places but they had plenty of time to build trust up with me. Of course I'm no pushover. I have the potential to be able to kill someone with my bare feet or hands. That's not something I want to do. I never want to break that inhibition. I used to kill people in my dreams all the time when I used to have combat dreams. It was like I was an instructor for someone else. Now if it wasn't against the law, I might not worry about it. Of course then it would be a wild west world with everyone out for themselves.

    It would be easier to grab something to help defend yourself. A couple of car keys can easily be turned into a weapon to help defend yourself. The shaft on some umbrellas can be made into a harpoon. (with the top torn off first). Anything with a sharp edge even a broken bottle can become a deadly weapon and used for self defense. Of course just getting out of a situation without killing someone would be better imo. I've never had a problem when I've been out with dancers but I usually like to believe I can trust someone first and I don't usually go off to strange places with total strangers.

    There are many unpleasant surprises in going to a girls place you don't really know well. If you do this and she asks you to give money to another man before the session, keep our money and walk away. Once he has your money its possible she may simply rip you. A routine they may use is about how some family member is near death in the hospital and her aunt is coming to pick her up "so we only don't really have much time." Since she had you give the money to her BF before session, its not really like you can just take your money and leave.

    Give some credit to the PL. At least he left his valuables and car in another locale. That said, how pissed off were his would-be abductors when they learned he had nothing on him? Maybe they shifted to Plan B (organ removal) causing PL to jump from the 3rd floor balcony...
