Many dancers are interesting to talk to, but I can find interesting people to talk to for free. If a dancer gives good dances, I don't care if she doesn't want to sit with me at all (except to wait for the start of the next song). It's mathematically inevitible that the best dancers will have the least time to sit with you. If a dancer starts to unload on me, well a little is OK. But if it gets to be too much, I'll say "would you like to have lunch with me sometime and we'll talk about it?". That usually leads to them leaving withing 30 seconds.
