Playboy's Super Saturday Night Party Returns to Pro Football's Most Important We

CHICAGO, Jan. 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Playboy's legendary Super Saturday Night party is returning, and promises to be one of the hottest tickets in town during Miami's highly-anticipated Super Bowl weekend. Consistently ranked one of the best parties of the weekend, the Playboy event will be held at South Beach's Sagamore Hotel on Saturday, February 6, 2010, beginning at 9:00 p.m. The exclusive event, presented by BACARDI®, will be hosted by members of The Black Eyed Peas and will serve as the Grammy-winning artists' official after party, following their concert performance at the American Airlines Arena that evening.
Celebrities, athletes and VIP guests will mingle with a bevy of Playboy Playmates and Playboy Club Bunnies as they dance the night away to music from three of S.K.A.M. Artist management's biggest names—DJ Reach, DJ Sky Nellar and DJ Ross One. This event marks the beginning of a year-long celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Playboy Club. The party will blend five decades of sexy sophistication as guests travel through Playboy Club history, and experience vintage and contemporary elements of the world's most famous nightlife venue. Additional event partners include MINI USA, Playboy Cigars, and American Media Inc, the new publishing partner for Playboy magazine. Premium BACARDI® cocktails will be served throughout the night.
Sagamore, The Art Hotel, Miami Beach's premier boutique oceanfront resort, serves as the ideal venue for this iconic event, providing visitors with crisp minimalist aesthetics that serve as a backdrop for innovative cuisine and contemporary art. The hotel's interior and exterior grounds are distinguished by its collection of works by recognized and emerging artists from around the world.
Adding to the excitement in Miami, Playboy Golf will bring the first-ever Playboy Golf Super Scramble to South Florida during the week of the big game. The golf tournament will take place at the renowned Woodmont Country Club in Tamarac, FL (near Ft. Lauderdale) on Thursday, February 4, with a Playboy Golf VIP Players Party to take place on Wednesday, February 3.
Playboy last held its Super Saturday Night event in 2008 during Phoenix's Super Bowl weekend. Celebrities and athletes in attendance at the "Playboy's Desert Oasis and Resort" themed-party included Common, Alyssa Milano, Bradley Cooper, Danica Patrick, Tiki Barber, Lauren Conrad, Matt Dillon, Nick Cannon, and Hugh Hefner, along with Holly Madison, Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson.

Too bad that the magazine and the brand are going under.

I know... I am due for a renewal with the magazine and I might just let it expire.

I have heard that the kindle and ipad are going to stimulate the publishing industry so maybe people will start subscribing to the digital edition of playboy and other magazine so they can use their ipads for something.

I believe I saw a promo a few years ago, when The Palms opened in Vegas, they were to have a Playboy casino staffed by attractive women (as in Playboy quality) dealers in bunny ears, etc. On my recent visit a few weeks ago, we made a point to trek to The Palms (not on The Strip) to check it out. Whatever the Playboy affiliation there was, it's now down to a Playboy bar only. So, needless to say, I was bummed out.

BUT, there was a dancer named Ozlynn dancing Monday's at Henry the VIIIth in Inkster, MI., who said she flies out every year to work the Playboy golf outing. She may well have been the best-looking dame ever to work at Henry's.

the way things are going, would not surprise me if half the celebrities scheduled to appear at the sbowl party don't show up. well maybe they will if their appearance fee check clears in advance...
