In a rundown of all the New Year's Eve events taking place in both Europe and North America, TripAdvisor has nominated the “Nude Year's Eve†event in Miami Florida as the most extreme.
Coming in at second was the “Loony Dip†in Scotland, where mid-winter participants will do for a freezing dip in the River Forth, and if this wasn't enough, all 600 participants will be doing so dressed up in costumes and fancy dress.
Third place goes to the “Torchlight Parade†in Alaska, where hundreds of skiers and snowboarders grab a torch and ski down Mount Alyeska after dark.
“New Year's Eve is a great excuse for travelers to let their hair down and push their limits,†said Christine Petersen, TripAdvisor Chief Marketing Officer.
“Whether you're an adrenaline junkie, or just want to get a jump start on your resolution to become more active, we've identified some exceptionally extreme events to get pulses racing in 2010.â€

Why is it these events end up drawing in every person looking like a GEICO caveman or Jack-Link's Messin with Sasquatch?
Maybe they need a requirement, no one looking like QuasiMoto or Sasquatch will be admitted.
