Tijuana Prices

I have been keeping track of the mongering prices in Tijuana. From what I understand, a couple of years ago it cost $60-$70 to take a girl upstairs to a hotel room at HK, AB, CC, and BT (For the newbies, I'm respectively referring to Hong Kong, Adelita, Chicago Club, and Tropical Bar - aka The Big Four clubs of Zona Norte). Now, it seems $100 is the going rate, and I understand some girls want $120, $130, even $150 to go to a room. That's ridiculous. I know inflation is prevalent these days, but those prices are outrageous. Even the street girls are becoming more mercenary. Yeah, you can still find some that will do the deed in their room for $20-$25, but now if you want to take one to your room at Cascadas or Rizo de Oro, she may charge up to $100 - when the normal going rate is $50-$60. Why is this happening? In my humble opinion, many guys are overpaying for the services. They act as if they're "saving" the ladies by giving extra money. But I'm here to tell you, these ladies don't need guys to "save" them. They are out there working to support themselves and their families. Yes, you can be friends with them, but don't try to be a sugar daddy and spend more than the going rate. Because when you do that, you make things harder for the next guy - who's got to spend more than planned due to your actions. And like I said earlier, inflation has impacted a lot of things - including the cost of mongering. I saw somewhere that taxi rides from the border to Zona Norte now cost $7. It should be no more than $5. Look, in order to correct the market, we will need to start holding the line on prices. We're gonna have to start negotiating lower prices. For example, if a HK girl wants to go up with you at the Cascadas for $100, counter with $80. Tell her that's the most you are willing to pay (in a respectful manner of course), and let her decide. If she likes you a lot, chances are she'll agree to your price. Then you can add a tip after the deed is done. By doing this, we can also send a message to HK management, which quite frankly has pissed off a lot of mongers with their recent aggressive approach to pricing, especially when it comes to having HK girls in your room at Cascadas. Having to buy beer to get more time with her is just stupid, because it greatly reduces the incentive of having the girl spend the night. Is obtaining a market correction in TJ going to be easy? No, it won't. If only a handful of guys start holding the line, things are likely to stay the same - and maybe get even worse. But if enough guys do so, then club management and the bar/street girls will have no choice but to change their ways. Then, maybe - just maybe - things will return to where they should be.

    Have to agree! Too many overpay and it ends up driving prices up for the rest of us. Captain save-a-ho disorder is what it should be referenced as.

    I understand and support holding the line. However, we can expect price creep. Paid $60-$80 pre Covid, but that was two years ago now. Inflation is worse in Mexico than it is in the USA. I always try to negotiate for $80, but usually I have spent time vetting the girl and know that I want her, so if she stands firm on $100, I usually accept. A few have walked when I didn't accept $100. Gotta respect the putas for holding their line. OTOH, I would never pay more than $100 for a BG. And typically if they quote over $100 it is a red flag to me, so I walk. FYI I have a street girl favorite (met originally when she was working in HK) that I book for an hour in my room for $100. Nude, BBBJ, CFS, and she has allowed anal in the past. On the street, she actually looks better than she did in the club. Less makeup and dressed like a GND. Still sports a fine figure. For half the price of a BG with attitude, she is a good deal and I will repeat. The only issue is that she is not on the street very often. I have her in my speed dial list, but she rarely responds. I just have to see her when I see her.

    @azfriole - I think I have captain save-a-ho disorder. But Im not trying to save any hoe's. I just legitimately feel bad I'd be paying at least $500 for the same girl in the US. Damn, I have to start over with all new girls. All the ones that know me expect it now. December 11th I start fresh. Man that will save me a ton of money too.

    I have never been able to negotiate better rates or more time even though I’m a professional negotiator in the states. But I assume that’s because I’m Asian and they all think I’ve got money. What I don’t get is how the non HK clubs also maintain the $100 baseline even on those super slow Tuesdays.

    Maybe the clubs have increased what the BGs have to give the club for each arriba. So they can't drop their rate without being in the red.

    So here is my take on this.... When the going rate is $100 for all the women with some asking more. THAT IS THE GOING RATE. When you try to haggle odds are you will just get a dead fuck. Sometimes you wont. But most of the time you will piss them off so they will do a less than stellar performance. Just things to think about. Now I do understand that when a girl is asking $150 she might have GPS and that is when you say well that chica right there is only asking $100 what makes you better. Then see how they respond. Sometimes they will drop price, sometimes they will tell you some extras will be involved... other times it is straight GPS. But just becareful when you think that you will "dictate" a price drop. Just like everything else in life prices are going up and you get what you pay for most of the time. Again... food for thought.

    The going rate is the going rate, for better or worse. Don't mean to be mean about this, but you can talk all you want about organizing a protest about it and the net effect will be zero. The people on this website represent a tiny fraction of the overall clientele, and none of us have any real clout with the management. About the only thing you can do is be patient in the bars and go upstairs with the BGs that you truly click with. If you spend all your time bargain hunting, you're probably not going to have anywhere near as much fun.

    I'm planning on going back to Tijuana near the end of this month of February. this is the longest I've been away from TJ. I've kind of takin it to heart to cut way back on my visits due to the the bad decisions that Hong Kong management making with all the increasing prices and all the rules that stifle the fun in the club and in the room.
