The Pulse: The state of South Florida SCs at Night.

Back in early February, I made my way to one of my favorite SC destinations; South Florida. This not only includes Miami, but Miami Gardens, Hallandale Beach, Pompano, Doral, Tamarac and several other cities in South Florida. While Atlanta is might be the most known city in the U.S. for strip clubs (which I think that narrative is dying off), South Florida has the most strip clubs in one area in the nation and it’s not even close. But the price of the strip clubs here is not the value of Atlanta and at night it can become quite a headache to even get in. I guess people are starving for SCs in South Florida. My purpose of writing this article is to get a feel on how the SC scene is before Summer officially hits. I want to hear from all the South Florida SC vets to see if my experience back in February coincides for what it is now.
After having a quite pleasurable warm up afternoon in Tootisies (checked that review), I checked into my hotel, refuel with a Publix Sub from across the street and hit the SC scene around 10-11pm for the night shift. My first stop was Booby Trap Doral. Even though many people like the On the River version the best, I like the Doral version as it’s a little low key and the girls are pretty damn hot. However, on this night, they had a strict midnight curfew that other clubs were not acknowledging. Especially the Booby Trap on the River. I was in there for maybe 45 minutes after a brief 10 minute line and they still charged me $20 to get in. The best thing about the trip was this super-hot waitress with a big fake ass who gave me her number (sorry guys, no Instagram). She might have been Dominican or Puerto Rican. I couldn’t quite tell but she was fish grease hot. We talked briefly over the phone but she just wanted me to spend money on tables for the Super Bowl for that upcoming Sunday. That was a dead end.
I left Booby Trap Doral and ventured to Booby Trap on the River. I couldn’t even get into the parking lot there. From there I went to Tootsies. It was the same thing. The line was wrapped around the building with Miami Gardens police blocking the entrance.
After that I was done with Dade county SCs. Up to Broward County I went. First stop, old trusty Cheetah. I had been there earlier and danced a few Cubans with very high mileage. But this was the first time I EVER seen a line outside the Cheetah. Fuck that. Then I went to Vixens. Again, there was nowhere to park and a line bigger than Cheetah.
So off to Pompano Beach on North Powerline I went to the famous Diamond Dolls. Despite it being late, the parking charge was still $2 and the cover was $5. The place was pretty packed but not claustrophobic. The demographic of the customers were mostly white with the entertainment mostly Cubans of all shapes and sizes. Diamond Dolls is by far one of the most valued SCs in South Florida, however, I like the diversity of Tootsies a little bit more and Tootsies girls look better IMO (in my opinion). But the value of Diamond Dolls is a lot better than you’ll find in Dade County SCs or any other SC that I have visited in South Florida. No $400 VIPs here like Tootsies. All night men were coming in and out of the curtains on the far left of the club with their chosen Cuban dancer. I focus on this one Cuban with this huge fake ass and tits with a beautiful face that spoke decent broken English. We went back to the curtain private room for $125 (it was around that, hey it was like 3 months ago, so I forget the exact amount). Her ass was so soft as I rub that thing like a fucking magic lamp. I swore a genie was going to pop out of her ass crack. After about 20 minutes, I left the curtain room satisfied. The lights of the club came on not too long after that as the club closed at 2AM.
Despite my fun at Diamond Dolls in the evening, getting into a strip club at night in the Miami area prove to be a hassle in February. Maybe because it was Super Bowl weekend or restrictions in Dade and neighboring counties were starting to ease due to the pandemic. In either case, I’m interested in knowing what the SC scene is looking like because the summer is coming and I have a hankering for Joes (the snow crab restaurant) and Hoes. LOL. For those in South Florida, What’s the scene in South Florida looking like? Is the midnight curfew still in place for Dade County SCs?? Talk to me.

I don’t know about Miami Dade county, but Pompano is back to 2:00am closing. With the golden triangle of Diamond Dolls, Booby Trap and Cheetah Pompano all within a mile of each other, if there is a long line at one, you can easily move on to the next.
And if you want to try something different, there is Gold Club and Porthole Pub nearby. These two won’t have the quality of the big three, but between them there is something for everyone.
I wouldn’t judge by Super Bowl weekend either. Things may have been busier than normal with Florida opened up. And now the governor has removed all statewide mask mandates (even local restrictions will be gone July 1). FYI, 45% of Floridians have received at least 1 Covid shot.
