Things Learned: A Career of Strip-Clubbing

Friday, October 4, 2013 12:00 AM
It is said that strip clubs are a world onto themselves. They are often thought of as something of a taboo, almost like a niche sub-culture that everyone knows about, but few openly discuss. And yet, they are a staple of the American sex industry, aside from the usual connotations of bachelor parties and expense accounts. Customers and dancers from all walks of life and with every possible motivation participate and interact with one another in this somewhat primitive game of extracting the most possible goods while simultaneously expending the least amount of effort. I've been visiting strip clubs in different parts of the country on and off for some time. During that period, I have had some memorable experiences, absolutely terrible nights, made plenty of mistakes, and, best of all, learned some things that have helped to served me well in subsequent visits. While everyone's take on this hobby is different, at times it helps to gain insight from someone else, as it puts your own experiences in perspective. Therefore, I thought I'd dig a bit below the surface and take a moment to provide some insights that I've found to be helpful from my own experience: Decide what it is you want and what's important to you. This is something that does not come easily, I'll admit. It takes some time experimenting with the strip club atmosphere to learn what you value the most. However, this does allow you to adjust your expectations accordingly so that you can minimize disappointment. Know your market. Each club will provide a dramatically different experience depending on what it is that they are willing to tolerate. Over time, you will begin to see patterns emerge within your encounters that dictate what sorts of environments tend to work best for you. Knowing this, if your expectations are not working for you in a particular market, it is far easier to find a market that fits those expectations than vice versa. Do your homework. This is where the Internet has demonstrated itself time and time again to be a valuable resource. Sites like TUSCL protect customers by taking hours of time and hundreds of dollars off of the learning curve for hobbyists, allowing them to make efficient, informed choices. Furthermore, do not underestimate the power of talking to other customers. They can provide useful information that you may not otherwise have had access to. Everyone makes mistakes. Understand that mistakes are part of the learning process, and that you shouldn't beat yourself up when they happen (and they will happen). Every seasoned hobbyist has made more than his or her share of mistakes along the way. Take advantage of these learning opportunities, as they really do benefit you in the end. Finally, don't forget to have fun.Enjoy yourself, first and foremost. You are in an environment where you can explore different dimensions of yourself sexually with someone that you enjoy. Never lose sight of that at any point in the process. What's great about this information is that it applies to both casual clubbers and hobbyists; anyone can relate to these points, whether it's their first time through the door, or their thousandth time. Hopefully, these tips will help you get the most out of your clubbing experience as possible, while enjoying yourself to the absolute fullest extent. Thanks for reading!

I rarely ever read anything here that I'd consider good advice, but this is definitely an exception. Well put!

I would also add in that even if you do everything perfectly sometimes a club is having a "bad" day and it isn't fun, so never judge a club good or bad based on one visit.

Isn't this just a basic guide to life? I would also recommend that last point, of exploration. Where I grew up, all the black girls were really bitchy, so I never had an interest in black girls. I tried one in the club, and I've found it's they're the best bang for the buck. At another club, I got a couple of dances from a heavier dancer as she was nice enough to spend some time chatting with me. She did something that at first freaked me out(she bit my ear, and all that came to mind was that she was going Mike Tyson on me! ), but then when she did it again, it was quite enjoyable.

Interesting.... First point made was to adjust expectations in order to minimize disappointment. How many times has that happened to me in this hobby? Way more than I want to admit. But, appropriate. And applicable to many areas of life when dealing with people.

Thanks for one of the best "general advice" posts, Metro. I especially liked: "Decide what it is you want and what's important to you." Crucial! It's not up to any girl to make me feel good, it's up to me to find the right girl & court her. I have to stay focused on what I want, not what she's trying to sell me. "Know your market.... Do your homework." Yeah! I wd add that every club has a range of girls, & it's important to find the ones you get along w/ & light yr fire. Different shifts have different girls & different vibes. This is where Internet research comes to an end & homework becomes field work; ya just gotta go in & see how it feels. It takes time & $$ but learn when to come in & whom to look for. "Everyone makes mistakes." Yup. We pay for education as well as fun. Don't waste energy getting pissed off, but learn as quickly as you can!

The OP has the kind of advice I wish I'd known when I first discovered SCs lo these many years ago. Even now, I'm considering printing it out--which is more than I can say for most stuff on the Net.
