Not Another Article by a Stripper

Avatar for she_is_covfefe
she_is_covfefeDespite the constant negative press covfefe.

Well, it sure isn't one of those "how to ___ at a club" written by a dancer but a stripping related article by a dancer. This time, touching possible indefinite retirement.

I had enjoyed this job so much during the three years I've done it since I left active duty in the military. Despite all the ups and downs of this job, it's a good job. Besides that the situation with Korea is getting worse and I smell a possible reactivation, I'm also pursuing other professional interests. For the time being, I'll still dance sporadically until I stop completely indefinitely.

Here are my perks of being a dancer:

  1. The easier money.

  2. The lack of clothes.

  3. Making my own schedules.

  4. The stage.

  5. The pole

  6. The music.

  7. The other dancers.

...and the downs.

  1. The ocassional bad nights.

  2. Clubs that either required too much or no clothes.

  3. Fines.

  4. The champagne room

  5. The dressing room

  6. The taxation

  7. The other dancers

I have fun in this website. I will keep contributing to this site. Whether is a review from a club I sporadically work, or one I visit with my hub, or a discussion, I will keep posting in here. Plus, reading some discussions bring a big laugh to me and my spouse.

I may put some of my stuff for sale in here soon.

Live long and prosper,

Jay Jay

When I wrote this article, my knee wasn't giving up on me. Now it is.

I'm glad you see the lack of clothes as a perk.

Keep on posting on TUSCL. It's good to hear from a dancer.

A bad knee has ended the careers of many great athletes – and now JayJay :)

But - it may be a blessing in disguise and better doors may open.

Good luck and stick to it (“it” = finding success)

@Jacklash: I'm an exhibitionist.

@papi chulo: I'm on PT for my knee and it'll probably be good for dancing again by September, but I also want to do other things besides stripping. Thanks for your wishes.

I am surprised you see CR as downer. Many dancers see this as way to sell lots of dances or whatever.

It's very refreshing to hear a stripper say that she's an exhibitionist! I presume that most are, but don't want to say the word. As it happens, I am one, too. And I value clubs for just that reason: while being a voyeur, I can also safely practice my exhibitionism. Of course the girl gets paid for hers, while I have to pay for mine. Nonetheless, I am grateful for the venue to exhibit and masturbate all I want.

I like the lack of clothes........

A guys asked him what he saw in strippers. He said "they are young, beautiful, half naked, and uninhibited. All things your not honey."

Thanks for clearing that up. You had me confused there for a little while.

I love strippers because they allow me to fulfill my fantasy and actually help facilitate my happiness.

Will most clubs let you take a pass on stage dancing if you have a medical issue?

@ibbanicnl: In Austin, yes if I pay extra for housefee. I'm going to use this time to focus on the physical therapy for the knee and do other jobs. I also want to buy a house, and it looks better if the application has a job like "Windows Systems Administrator" working for some random company in Austin than a dubious "consultant" job with a bunch of 1099's reflecting very different incomes.

I know a dancer, past 40 and a C.P.A., who danced wearing a knee brace. She said she needed the money.

@Super Dude:

Thanks for the anecdote. I shall take that into consideration.

Interesting that you don't mention the customers in the pros or the cons.
