BACHELOR / BACHELORETTE PARTY PLANNING CHECKLIST
 
TIPS FOR THE BEST MAN OR MAID OF HONOR
 
We have constructed this list to assist you with your task of planning a bachelor party or bachelorette party. This process should be fun, but will require some work. Of course, getting ten or more people to all agree on a time, date and itinerary will be difficult. We have laid out the basic requirements and work flow chart for you.
 
1. Compile A Guest List
First you will need to compile a list of all guests that will be invited. Speak with the bachelor/ette, and ask him or her to make a list of their names, contact phone # and email address. Do not invite individuals who will make your guest of honor uncomfortable, or persons that get excessively drunk and obnoxious.
 
2. Pick A Date
Most bachelor/ette parties take place on a Friday or Saturday night when everyone is off from work. The party is usually held anywhere from 2 months to 1 week before the wedding date.
 
3. Reserve A Location
You will need a location to have the party at. Your options are as follows:
A. A House / Condo or Apartment.
B. A Hotel
C. A Private Room in a bar / restaurant / or catering hall / loft space
D. A limousine (strip club limousine)
 
Here are the advantages & disadvantages each:
 
House / Condo OR Apartment
Advantages: The least expensive way to go.
 
Disadvantages: Jealous wives, husbands or boyfriends or girlfriends showing up unexpectedly. Also - nosy neighbors snooping around and possible broken household items.
 
Hotel
Advantages: Total privacy, anonymity & free soap! Party guests especially those from out of town, have a place to crash.
 
Disadvantages: You can get kicked out by hotel security, therefore keep the noise level down to a minimum. We recommend getting a room on the top floor or penthouse & a room at the end of the hallway.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Private Bar OR Restaurant
This is probably best way to go. Just make sure the owner of the establishment is OK with the type of entertainment you will be having.
Advantages: Professional service - guests will be attended to be wait staff & bartenders. Large Space for all your Guests, Lots of Seating, Chairs and Tables, No Clean Up Necessary - Bar Cleans up after your Party, Fully Stocked Bar of Alcohol, Catered Food such as Pizza, Wings etc, Plasma/LCD Wide Screen TV's to Watch Sports Games, No Wives or girlfriends to yell at you when your party lasts past midnight
Disadvantages: Most expensive option.
 
Limousine (strip club limo)
Advantages – Safe transportation– none needs to worry about driving while intoxicated.
The entire party can travel together, Getting a lap dance at 55 miles per hour is fun! Great for a pub crawl.
 
Disadvantages - Bouncy rides and spilled drinks
 
5. Arrange Snacks OR Dinner
Clearly an advantage if you prepared by the Private Events Room at a Bar or Restaurant.
 
6. Beverages
Alcoholic & non – alcoholic beverages.
 
7. Transportation
Let’s have a plan to get our friends home safe. Limo’s Taxi’s Designated Driver, Etc.
 
8. Entertainment
