Bored to tears in retirement, I accepted a job from an old buddy that meant spending a few days at his company's yard in Nisku. That inevitably led to spending some time at this tavern with the good old boys.

The correct name for this place is the Rig Pig Tavern at the Airways. It is tied to the hotel. A gambling joint is adjacent (VLTs, OTB, cards, etc.). Massage Parlour activities are available at the truck stop 5 min. down the road. Edmonton Int'l Airport is nearby.

The tavern itself is one big room with a large main stage elevated only slightly meaning that you can almost look the dancers in their eyes as they do their routines. I rather liked this - a different perspective to what is usual in other SCs. There is an auxiliary stage in one corner, a shooter bar in another, pool tables and video games elsewhere. A bar lines one wall. Beer is $5.75. Typical tavern food - pizza, burgers, sandwiches. Ample free parking and never a cover charge.

The dancers do nothing but dance specializing in close-up gyno shots as the rig pigs shower the girls with loonies and toonies. On one busy evening the boys were lined two-deep around the stage tossing coins on the dancers' crotches. There is no lap dancing or private dancing but the stage dancing is excellent. The main stage has three poles and you can expect to see some dazzling tricks on those poles.

Dancers love working at this joint. They get paid to dance, no mandatory tipouts, and they get to keep every coin tossed at them. I spoke to a dancer from Toronto who considered this a well paid vacation- (no lappers, no HJs, no BJs like at her regular club in Toronto). The downside for the dancers is that they can be booked at this place only one week in three months max. The Toronto girl told me one week take home pay here equals two and a half weeks take home pay in Toronto.
