Chill, Relaxed Spot For Some Dances
PLACE:
Never been to Edmonton before so this might all be quite normal for Edmonton but dang, so easy to park (rows and rows of parking and across the street too at the gas stations haha but I doubt that would be necessary). It was very clean inside the club, it was a little confusing at first to get in as there were a few different doors without any obvious signage (I noticed that with a lot of places in general in Edmonton though, not just the SCs). The lighting was amazing, it looked like a high end establishment compared to the places in Vancouver. The stage was kinda funny since it had two poles that looked like they were chainsawed off but the dancers seemed to make it work and they brought out various props depending on who was up stage. DJ played various types of music and wasn't annoying with asking the crowd to give tips (I tried going on a Thursday and Friday to test out the vibe too but it wasn't super different so that was great in terms of overall atmosphere and environment to focus on which dancers caught my eye without having to fork over a bunch ). I was HOOKED with the first gal that played an entire playlist of country music AND punk rock music. Holy hell. I wish this was more popular. I've only ever seen this once in Vegas at Palomino with one dancer.
PEOPLE:
It was a little hard to see all the dancers at once to scope them all out but it was around 6-10 dancers (nobody seemed to be aggressive, maybe 2-3 girls would approach customers but it was chill) as the place was quite large and the booths were all to give some privacy I guess to each customer, whether they were with a dancer or not. Both nights I went (Thursday and then Friday) had a similar number of girls working. Bartender, manager and bouncers were incredibly friendly and nobody made me feel pressured to even tip which was crazy lol like I swear to god, the bartender was GIVING ME back my money since I apparently tipped too much haha (e.g. an extra $5 or $10 for exceptional service but then in Vancouver and Vegas it's expected so I obviously forgot I was in Edmonton). I saw all white girls and they were mainly blonde in their 20s and maybe some in their early 30s. They were all very friendly and happy - nobody was checking their phones or looking bored which was cool.
