A pleasant surprise on this visit: the ATF was back! Rolled in around 11:45 to find the parking lot close to full. This usually only happens when there's a "featured" performer (porn star, famous dancer, Bridget the Midget, etc.) on tap, but nothing on the display out front and nothing inside. The ladies were working alternate two and one dancer shows on stage most of the time I was there. Initially went into the show area and sat down to watch, then caught a glimpse of a familiar head. When I walked up to the ATF, she seemed about as happy to see me as I was her. Talked for a moment, but the place was crowded enough I suggested we grab a VIP so we could catch up. I wish catching up with other people was half as enjoyable! She gave me her standard enthusiastic lapper while we caught up. Found out why she'd been gone, that she's picked up a "regular" job, and that she's only going to be working a day or two a week. She was telling me that, despite the crowd, none of the women were doing well that night. At most, the bulk of the crowd would drop a few dollars at the rail, but almost no one was taking them up on VIP dances (which is where they make their real money at). After we were done, we headed back to the bar area and parted company for a while. Chatted up Hayley, one of my other favorites, and ended up going back with her too. She confirmed what I'd been told earlier, and wished it would pick up as she'd had to pay out a lot of money (how much I don't know) on text books within the last week. Got a good performance from her too and shared a couple of laughs before we headed back.

All in all, not a bad night even though I didn't have as much in the way of money as I'd wished I could.
