I stopped in briefly here since a couple of Dancers from the Sundowner told me that they were on for a shift at Pure Platinum, which is apparetnly owned by the same group. They were dreading it, because last time they had one of these shifts they said they made zero money! I drove down from the Falls where I was staying hoping to change that for them--all I can say is YIKES! Why would anyone go here when the Sundowner and Penthouse are twenty minutes away in Niagara Falls? The place is huge, and clearly once was very nice. It still is much "nicer" than the Sundowner, because anything that has been changed or upgraded in the last decade has gotten basically no use! When I was growing up in Buffalo Ft. Erie was THE PLACE to go and this place clearly was once ground zero for some amazing times. But that was before the bad times hit Buffalo and clearly Ft. Erie as well. There were exactly four guys in here and about six girls--one on stage, three chatting together at the bar, and two were sitting together playing one of the video games. I suppose if it happened that one of the girls here was really your type you could get lots of quality time with her, but other than that this place feels like someplace that is not-so-slowly dying in a town that is already essentially dead. My two girls were unfortunately no where to be seen. If you want to hang out and drink with a few pretty girls desperate to make a buck off you I suppose this place could be perfect, but if you are looking for choice, fun, and action head to the Falls. It is certainly worth the extra 20 minute drive.
