Tame but entertaining Thursday at the ‘downer

First time at the ‘downer in about 30 years! Don’t live in the area anymore and haven’t had the occasion to get here.

Easy to access from the Falls and coming over from the States. Huge parking lot, entrance around front. Single door, vestibule where security should have been, another single door and you’re in the club.

Rectangular shape; big long stage in the middle of the room, with two small circle stages on either side. Weird, horseshoe shaped tables around the main stage. Bar is at the back of the room, L-shaped, plenty of seats but hard to get the bartenders attention. Food buffet behind the bar ($13?). VIP rooms on either side of the room; girls use both. Booths are semi-private at best.
