Visit this club everytime I go to SF. It's one of the (very!) few clubs that no matter when you go (even on weekends), it's never really superbusy and you can get comfortable and absorb the atmosphere. They have a limited number of girls more so than some of the other clubs nearby, but again, I like that. I'd say on weekends, they top off at around 15-20 girls in the later hours. Girls are really attractive here and generally nice. It's a very laid back club with minimum of hustle. I think more guys tend to float towards Centerfold's across the street because they have a lot more girls and it's a more lively and open atmosphere. But I think the girls over at Centerfold's are a bit too testy and attitudinal at times, which downgrades the fun factor for me. With Showgirls, I'd say 90% (maybe more) are really nice. Clubs in SF are all pricey ($20 cover charge, but lower if you go early enough) and drinks, too ($7 a pop, but that's about the best deal you'll get anywhere you go now, a sign of the times!). Dances in Showgirls are $20/song downstairs and, only during Showtimes, you can go upstairs and get 5 songs for $100. Regular songs upstairs are I think in the range of like $300+ for half an hour, which is definitely out of my wheelhouse! And I think the downstairs dances are good enough anyway. Showgirls is totally worth the trip.
