Arrived right at shift change, according to the waitress. Presumably the day shift was still there, and the night shift was arriving. I stayed an hour and only saw three dancers, although hopefully a couple more got on stage when I was getting dances. Two who approached me told the they'd been there since they opened (noon, apparently) so I'm not sure when things pick up. I was trying to stick around until it got better, but left after an hour out of boredom.

The last time I'd been to Deja Vu, after midnight on a Saturday, it was wall to wall customers, and they had some quite good looking dancers, by Nashville standards that is, along with a couple who really shouldn't have been there. But the top of the line dancers hadn't arrived this time around. The ones who were there were reasonably friendly, but pretty tired and willing to do a dance but neither eager nor really at the top of their game. I understand. After a hard day's work I'm running on fumes, so it didn't bother me that they were too. All had a bit of a belly but were decent looking, one didn't smell too great. Actually, that's been a problem before. Even when the place was kicking I'm encountered a dancer whose smell was a turn off. Maybe it has to do with where they let them go smoke between shifts? Or maybe just BO, I'm not sure.

Got multiple dances from two dancers, and given how dead it was, I was surprised the third didn't come by and say hello. Dances were OK, lame. Virtually no contact, not very sexy. Fortunately I had very low expectations. Good news is that I didn't get hastled by the bouncers, who one time had scolded me for touching when my hands were on the arms of the sofa, a good six inches from the dancer. The most exciting part of the night was when a guy walked inside the white line that marks the two foot mark from stage, put his hand over the stage and tried to put his tip in the dancer's garter. She looked scared and slid back, but no bouncer tackled him. Small improvement. Another guy managed to place his tip on stage without getting out his seat. Must have had a twelve foot wingspan, weird.
