Finally got out of the house...

Finally got out of the house late last month and visited my old standby club again. Good crowd. Not much has changed, but there were a lot of new dancers. Danielle, the only dancer still there from a couple years ago, graced the stage a time or two. Same far-away stare. The girl needs a personality makeover and she could rule this place. Anyway, the new dancers made up for that. All were between 6-8, friendly and sociable. The lack of money-grubbing was refreshing. One of them did spill my beer while on stage, but made up for it with extra attention. Didn't get any dances that night. Stayed about 90 minutes total. Overall the place seems to have weathered the economic times and looks to be gaining steam with the influx of new dancers. Not a bad way to start the weekend.
