I went to Scruples on a Friday night and the cover was $5 (after 6PM). The shift changes at 7 PM, so many new girls were arriving. Most guys sit at the horseshoe-shaped bar or at the long stage nearby. The alcohol was reasonably priced and the music was a good mix. With a large crowd, the place gets a bit messy, but the staff tries to pick up in between serving drinks. There was still some pasta left from a free daytime pasta buffet on weekdays. The lapdance area is in the back, monitored by security.

New dancers coming in were from Brazil, Columbia and Eastern Europe, as well as the U.S. Some chatted with you in a friendly way, feeling you out for a $20 dance in back. If you find one you like, best advice is to approach her and chat. Many in the 5 to 7 range, with a few 8's or 9's. There were usually 3 or 4 dancers on stage at once - and two friendlier ones put on a bit of a girl/girl show, fondling and kissing each other. Not the norm, I'm told - they're best friends. All in all, girls have a good attitude when the tips on stage were flowing. All in all, I'd recommend Scruples on a weekend night when many local guys come in and the girls are ready to play.
