Changes coming but more needed
It had been many months since I last visited Keepers. It's conveniently located off I-95 so an easy stop when driving through the Northeast. As mentioned, the place is under complete construction/renovation - the stage bar is gone, replaced by a traditional square bar with 6 large TVs (3 on each side) for easy watching. A new stage is being built behind the bar and supposedly the back area will be totally new for dressing rooms and private space. So changes are coming physically - however, I think changes also need to happen with the dancers. I was there on a Thursday night and about 10 women working. Looks were decent - say in the range of 5-8 out of ten. I got dances with two Eastern Europeans - both were good looking with toned bodies. One blonde/one brunette. The dancers were decent - plenty of boob touching and decent grind. But at $30 per song + $5 for DJ while also really hard to figure out song count, Keepers is just not as a good an option as other places off I-95 like in Bridgeport where the dances are cheaper and the mileage better. I will probably stop by one more time when the renovations are complete to see what it looks like, but unless other changes are made (for example, lower dance cost), I will most likely continue down I-95 for better options.
