Another trip to the Furnace, another...

Another trip to the Furnace, another jogging of my memory of why Birmingham clubs are so lame. The furnace reminds me of a beautiful woman, pretty on the outside (the top notch building) but sadly lacking depth and a personality (the dancer quality and attitude). While this place has a brilliant venue the dancer talent on this friday (saw both afternoon and night crew) was sadly lacking. Three dancers in the 6-7 range and a bunch of porkers describes it nicely. Couple this with the lack of performance and engagement while tipping and you have a stricly blase evening. Will not be returning soon, perhaps Sammy's has regained some of its past glory. Go for the surprisingly good food and to look at a few boobs, leave the dances for a trip to the Carolinas.
