You can’t judge a book by its cover. Viewed from the adjacent interstate highway, the plain exterior of The Scene appears as if it might be a dingy old man’s bar. Take one step inside, however, and the “scene†changes immediately.
I went to this club on a Monday night, and was pleasantly surprised by all the activity inside. As soon as I entered I saw two quite large, well-dressed, very competent looking bouncers. They gave me the visual once over and said hello. Ah, no cover tonight! One more step and I was in the thick of it at this fun, happening place, and I bellied up to the bar. The ballgame was on and I settled in for an hour of watching the game and some tits. There are two stages directly behind the bar and that made it easy to appreciate the baseball and the babes without even turning my head. The place had a nice crowd for a Monday night, and I was sorry I hadn’t stopped in before.
Aside from the two cuties tending bar, there were 10 girls on. They all occasionally stopped by to say hello and offer a backrub or a dance. I got no attitude when I told them I just wanted to relax with my beer for a while, just a smile and an “I’ll check back later.†After a Heineken or two, I accepted Maria’s offer of a nice backrub ($5 dollars worth) during the seventh inning stretch, and got a lap dance ($30) from Kissena at the end of the game. The lap dance area, which is separate from bar, was great. From what I was told, you can also purchase 15 minutes in one of the more private cubicles in the lap dance area for $150. I’m putting that one on my Christmas list. OK, I may not be able to wait that long.
