A tiny takeout place across and up the street from The Buddhist. I was the only guy in the club other than the one there to be the muscle. Did I mention it was across the street from The Buddhist (hands down the best club in town)? The three girls who were there working were actually hot, but with the cover a whopping 200 lei just to sit and drink I ducked out after a quick peek and chat. In my review for Heaven I said that was about $100 USD. Actually it's about $70 USD in today's market. Got the dollars mixed up with my stop across the street, trying to decide if 300 lei was worth it just to watch the show. Clearly I'd take a pass on it even at a lower price, since I was standing here at Red an hour so later after bouncing through a couple of other clubs.

Wasn't that interested in takeout, so it was back to the taxi. By now John the Cabbie had figured out that waiting on me at every club was the easiest fare of evening. I did like the layout of this place, though. Just enough light and every couch in the joint had a good view of the stage down at the end. The lithe blonde jumped up on stage without hesitation and did a credible strip routine while I skimmed the menu and chatted up the brunette that zeroed in like a laser beam. The third gal hung back in the corner by a door, probably trying to figure out if it she should walk all the way onto the floor. She didn't. If this place had more girls and onsite options it'd be a contender. You could probably get couch dances, but that's not really the point of the Bucharest clubs.
