CR in Bristol is a well-run but unexceptional club. There are some average (*yawn*) dancers but always one or two very good looking, very personable gals in the place as well. Check out Athena, for instance. When things are really slow, one dancer is on the stages for two songs and there is a break for a song. One or two of the dancers tend to get pushy doing the dollar parade -- which I think is ridiculous, especially when I am tipping them substantially better than average for each stage dance -- but this appears to be standard in the area. The rest of the staff is competent but utterly uninterested in customers and they react to being tipped themselves with mild shock. Expect no affectionate recognition even after you have been here quite a few times. The customers, during the day at least, tend to be powerfully bored locals who work the dancers for conversation at the bar while dragging out a beer beyond all comprehension. I loved the (many) private dances I got but I do not base my ratings on mileage.
