5 years ago, I visited the 'downer and it was only the second club I'd ever been in. Back then it was bright, had red vinyl chairs and dance cubicles with doors that closed behind you. Back then, extras were offered quite often.

5 years later, I found the lighting more muted, the chairs replaced by uncomfortable chrome chairs and the dancers somewhat less attractive than I remembered. Finally, I did find one pleasant and attractive girl from Quebec that convinced me to go for a few dances. She was very pleasant, but I was hoping for more erotic, and a little less pleasant.

Generally, it seemed that the dancers were less easy-going than other clubs I've been at lately. For example, after agreeing to go for a dance I asked if the dancer would mind if I stopped by the Men's room first. You might have thought I'd just thrown beer in her face from the way she stormed off. I'll blame it on the economy.
