I was in town for a couple of days on short notice, so needless to say there was not a lot of thought put in to where to go. The first thing you'll want to know is the place is now called "Hanul Veseliei" and is in fact a restaurant. The second thing you'll want to know is that mixed in with live entertainment are some belly dancers who accept tips and will get up close and personal given the chance.
Since I don't know the first thing about Romanian culture, I'm not going to say one way or the other if it is or isn't something that counts as a club. You can get more action here than in some U.S. bikini bars along with your reasonably priced meal. The belly dancers I saw (one blonde, one brunette) were in fact hot, and for the right price odds are you can get to know them better off property. If you happen to be staying at the Marriott across from Parliament, it's worth the walk one block over to check it out sometime after 9pm.
Since many of the places in town with dancing girls seem to be 'connected' and not viewer friendly, what's not to like?
