High Heels is a fun place...

High Heels is a fun place to hang out with your boys. I like to think of it as a dive bar that happens to have naked chicks dancing in it. The place comes off a pretty "unprofessional" compared to other joints, but some may see that as more of a pro than a con.

To start with the general decor reminds me of what I imagine every wild and crazy guy in the seventies dreamed of doing to his basement and, other than the new couches that were added to the "Jungle Room", nothing has been done to spruce up the place (nevermind maintaining it). In full disclosure, I know the DJ, but regardless he is good at what he does (as a former party DJ, I can respect what the man in the booth needs to do) and is a high point of the place. The bartender was super hot (better looking than the dancers) but was a little slow considering that the place was not exactly hopping. The crowd seems to be younger and local for the most part.

The most perplexing aspect of the High Heels Saloon is that it seems to me that none of the dancers seem to highly motivated to make serious money. I know that some patrons would welcome the complete absence of hustle in the club, but you literally have to physically corral a bitch into giving you a dance. Even then she might get up and leave you as happened to my boy. He got up and went to the "Jungle Room" with a dancer only to have her called to the stage to give some sort of stupid bachelor party show to some rube on the stage. As he was sitting waiting for her to return, as per her instructions, he was told to go back to the bar by a bouncer and it seriously took this chick over an hour to get back to him. Just weird in my book and a sign of sloppy management.

Anyways, the girls are generally not top quality in the looks department, but some of them are cute and nice. Of the maybe nine chicks dancing, at least four were cute, the type of chicks you would see out at your corner bar kind of cute. Two dancers in particular were super nice and the one that I got dances from, after I was able to pin her down to give me a dance, gave some good lapdances.

Overall, this place is a good club for kicking it with your boys and having some drinks. All the action seems to be at the stage, so bring singles. I live about an hour and half from there and it is not really worth the trip except for every once and a while. If it was closer I would definitely hang out there.
