This was one of the Seattle...

This was one of the Seattle area clubs recently raided, not just because of sexual activities but because of the owner's involvement in all sorts of tax evasion, money laundering, and possibly murder (search seattle times if interested). So, I am not sure what is happening there now but my visit was in mid May.

First, from a vibe and location standpoint, Rick's is much better. Honey's is way north of Seattle on a depressing and run down stretch of the commercial corridor, highway 99. It took me forever to find a bank to get cash and when I pulled up to the club, there were some really trashy looking strippers sitting outside smoking. The building looks gross, the sign is one step up from handmade, and there was an older dude popping wheelies in the parking lot that this club shares with an abandoned building that looks like it used to be a motel. None of this really matters to actual reason we visit strip clubs which is to hang out with hot naked chicks but I gotta say that the first impression was a major turnoff considering the money I was prepared to spend.

Inside it looks like how you would construct a generic strip club set for a movie if you had just one hour and a few hundred $ to buy stuff. A square room with some rickety tables and a stage, no attention to any kind of detail whatsoever. I've been to my share of strip clubs and while I usually like offbeat hole in the wall type places, I'd never felt like I was somewhere so lame and uninspired as Honey's in Everett. The vibe was the same: very sedate atmosphere, girls were almost all on the ugly side and very persistent in asking for dances over and over again even if I had politely declined just a few minutes before. Finally spotted one I could get into, a very slim white brunette who looked and acted like she was barely out of high school initially but looked trashier and older once we sat down in the private dance section and I got a better look.
