Sammy's is a Birmingham institution, however, that doesn't make up for the lame atmosphere. No table dances, no private rooms, and the dancers are very aloof, with exceptions. Much of this is due to city/county/state regs. Went on a Friday evening, around 8P, and there was plenty of places to sit. Stages all around, but the dancers migrate from the main stage to satellites. The service is good as is the music. Had a good time, but restrict my visits to once a year.
