Late afternoon, after work, I visited Brad's Brass Flamingo. The free ad in the "Nuvo" weekly enabled me to waive the $5. cover. There was also a free little buffet with spaghetti/meatballs and breadsticks which was nice, but nothing spectacular. "Nice, but
not spectacular" could also describe the club. I was able to see the dancers from both the day shift and the night shift, and they were reasonably hot, but not sizzling. A certain amount of lethargy seemed pervasive. Most frustatingly, many of the dancers spent all their time with boyfriends or regulars, and did not make themselves available
for private dances. They wouldn't even make eye contact with you. I felt like a potted plant, the way they ignored me. Sheesh! A few of the dancers were nice enough, and the private dances were a reasonable $10. and allowed some mutual touching with boundaries. A bottle of beer was $5. (including a .50 tip). There was a VIP room available for $100. for a half hour, but I don't think anyone availed themselves to it.
Too expensive, plus a series of $10. lap dances would be just the same. All in all, this is probably better than most clubs you'll see in Indianapolis, but as you frequent these places more often, boredom can set in. At least they didn't have those insipid bathroom attendents like other clubs, who expect a tip when you wash your hands (thus, many people don't wash - yuk!). The air hand blow driers in that sucker seemed like it was powered by turbojets! Amazing, how that is what sticks out in my mind after my visit there.
