On my recent weekend in Indy...

On my recent weekend in Indy I decided that I'd tour the local clubs to report back. I've attended a lot of clubs and will also be posting other reviews on the Indy clubs.

I stopped in Dancer's just after 5:00 on a Thursday night. I was in town only for the evening and this was the first on a list of clubs I planned to hit. Parking lot adequate, building about average looking from the outside... big plus for them is it is near the airport. Anyway, traffic at rush hour outside is rough... plan extra time. Inside a doorman came to take my $3.00 cover charge, there was a bar immediately ahead with quite a few stools (probably 20-25) and the main room open to the right. Beer was around $4.50. Sat next to the stage to get the scoop. This room is large, with 4 stages which two interconnect... 4 poles. Two girls dancing at once when I was there, often fairly attractive if somewhat older. This night there were about 15-20 people visiting, mostly regulars by the attention they received. Dancers on stage gave attention for as little as a dollar, off stage they had a private couch area for $20 per song. No deals apparently for 1/2 hour or 1 sessions. Average rating of the girls was about a 6-7 with two hot young 8-9's. Spent about an hour here but was only able to spend about $15.00 including beer away from the stage. They have booths and tables, comfortable chairs. Apparently I was seen as an outsider though and received little attention while away from the stage... could just be the night though.

All in all has the potential to be a lot of fun, but on a thursday afternoon things were pretty quiet.
