After reading all the reviews of this place, I had to check it out for myself. I've made 2 trips out to San Fran in the last few months, and been to the Lusty around 4 times. As they say, chances are, you've never experienced anything like this!

Come in through the entrance into a hallway where you can check out the day's performers, see the movies available in the booths, and get change for the booths. Straight ahead is a collection of video booths. To the right is the main dancing stage, which has been described here pretty well. Around to the far left is the private room.

First of all, definitely be careful of exactly what you touch! Although I will say the place is a lot cleaner than you might imagine. There is usually a mop bucket and cleaing supplies sitting in the corner, so they must clean fairly often (they have to, I guess!). The booths take dollar bills; $1 dollar gets you a little less than a minute, it seems.
