Well, duh, of course the dancers are going to sit and talk with regular customers. In addition to making economic sense for the girls to choose to sit with people who tip them regularly rather than sit with some stranger, they probably just prefer to talk with people they already know and have found interesting over time. I suggest the prior poster pick out a girl who is free and not busy with regular(s).
