Housed in a red building by the side of Pulaski Highway, the Crazy Russian has a ramshackle, pseudo-artsy/bohemian type interior. It's actually quite small - there is a stage behind the bar (a runway-type stage, with two poles) and then a small area outside the main bar for additional seating. When I stopped in on a weeknight, business seemed rather slow. I was told that it was normal.

The girls here do "burlesque" (as the owner says) and are not "strippers". Apparently the owner aspires to a higher standard - the girls wear pasties and bottoms stay on. While they are beautiful (every dancer I saw in there was a looker!) they don't do lapdances, and hence, usually walk away with about $60 on weekdays, $100 on weekends. So it doesn't surprise me that this club has few dancers, and a pretty steady lineup (you don't see much of a turnover rate here.)

Compared to my usual haunting grounds (Night Shift, Fantasies, Gentleman's Gold Club), this place has much less of a party atmosphere, and seems more like a place to drop in after work, grab a beer, and watch some pretty girls for maybe an hour, drop a few $1s and then be on your merry way again. Definitely not somewhere you would go for a racuous bachelor party or big celebration.
