I went to Hooters in April...

I went to Hooters in April 2004 while in Edinburgh for a night. When I arrived around 6PM there were no other customers in; it was just me, the barman and 3 dancers sitting on bar stools talking amongst themselves. I paid a £5 entrance fee. 2 of the girls looked very average, while the third was a complete stunner - very tall brunette, great body. I sat for 5 minutes with a drink before the stunner came over, introduced herself as Chardonnay and offered me a private dance for £10 or £20. I decided to start with the £10 - which I was glad of as, for all that this girl looked red hot, the dance was disappointing. It was impersonal, and lifeless, and Chardonnay seemed thoroughly bored. I left soon after my only dance, put off both by it and the lack of atmosphere in the club, especially as better efforts at both can be found at nearby venues in Edinburgh.
