A good visit to Blaze
Club Blaze was closed on Sunday afternoon when I first went by due to the Easter holiday. I went back on Tuesday afternoon. The free parking lot felt fairly full but the crowd inside wasn't large so maybe I misjudged the lot. There was no cover charge, as usual.
The main floor was again punishingly loud. I keep wanting to take in the stage there and get some dances on the benches, but I can't take the volume. I headed straight for the lower level where the music was just ordinary loud. A bottle of water at the bar was $5. The small TV behind the bar wasn't showing the usual sports, but just had a placeholder screen of some kind. It was slow, and (unusually) not smokey.
I was approached fairly quickly and continuously by various dancers. Lap dances were $5/song. Some changes were easy to spot, others less so. The songs weren't full length, but several of them felt decently long (or the dancer gave me a generous count).
