Average Midwest Club on Thursday

I stopped by Angels around 8:00 PM on a Thursday while in town for business. The club is situated in a somewhat isolated spot just outside of town, but the building itself is nice.

Inside, the layout is standard but clean. The bouncer at the door was professional and provided a great service by exchanging 20's for singles for free. There was a $5 cover to get in.

The service from the waitresses was the low point of the night. I ordered a bottle of domestic beer for $5 plus a tip. Despite there being only about 8 other patrons in the building, the service was painfully slow. I waited about 10 minutes after I ordered just to get a beer from the waitress. The staff didn't seem particularly motivated, and that lack of energy extended to the dancers. Most of the girls were clustered at the bar or sitting at tables together on their phones, making zero effort to hustle or even make eye contact with the few customers who were there.
