Fun evening at the Silver Bullet

I have hit the Silver Bullet hundreds of times going back to the 1990s ... it is one of my all-time favorite clubs! However, since I retired from my job in another Illinois city in 2021, I have almost stopped going because my home is far away. But when a stripper friend in my hometown expressed an interest in going, we took a Friday night road trip to Urbana!

We began our evening with a delicious Korean dinner at Masijta (MAH-sheet-dah) in downtown Urbana and arrived at the Silver Bullet shortly before the girls went on stage at 9. I paid no cover; presumably my lady friend got free entry and I am well past 55, so I got in free, too.

As you enter, the restrooms are to your left, the bar is straight ahead, and the stage extends rightward with a pole at the far end. Beyond the end of the stage at your far right is the DJ booth, behind which is the lap dance area, one of the oddest I've ever seen in my visits to dozens of clubs over about 30 years.
