I went to the Hideout at 21:30 on a Saturday night. The club is located about four and half miles west of Interstate 57 in the soybean fields across from a chemical plant. The Hideout is considered a private club; the door is always locked. You have to ring a doorbell to be let in, and they have to unlock the door for you to go home. The club opens at 21:00. Dancers start at 22:00. There is a $10 cover charge. After 22:00, the cover charge goes up to $15. The club is BYOB. There are no restrictions on glass bottles or hard alcohol, but they don't want you drinking at the stage or in the lap dance room due to a history of spills and cleanups. I wheeled in an Igloo cooler full of Sincweisers and other concoctions. The bartender watched over my booze wagon when I went to the other room for VIP sessions.

The dressing room is on your immediate left as you enter the club. The bar is straight ahead. Non-alcoholic drinks are sold at the bar. Restaurant booths and seating are on the right side of the room. The runway island stage is about a foot off the ground. It has two seven foot tall poles: one stationary and one spinning. An outside smoking area is accessed by a door on the back wall. I liked the fact that there was only one speaker on the back wall by the bar. This is the first strip club I have been to in years that wasn't blaring music over ninety decibels. You could actually have a conversation with the dancers.

The lap dance area is on the back left behind the bar. Private dances are $20 per song in the back room. VIP sessions take place on one of two couches that have more privacy due to being in cubicles. Fifteen minutes is $75. Twenty minutes is $100. Thirty minutes is $150. Sixty minutes is $300. The by-the-song private dances might be a better value. The bartender seemed to cut the timed blocks a little short, and some of the songs being played tended to be quite long. I timed songs out at 5:55, 4:05, and 5:00. In particular, some of the hip hop remixes tended to run long. I did two twenty minute VIP sessions with Chanel. She got topless and allowed touching everywhere except for the oyster ditch. She was totally my type, and I was on cloud nine.
