I used to be a regular customer at Flashdance prior to the fire. I enjoyed the club because they had a nice mixture of girls and the club itself was very customer friendly. After talking with several of the ladies who were working at other clubs while Flashdance was being remodeled I was eagerly anticipating the "new grandopening."

Well, I have visited the club twice since the grandopening. The owners clearly have spent a lot of money on renovations. The club looks extremely nice on the inside. The old, ripped couches are gone, the grimy tables are gone, the lights and sound system have been upgraded, there is a new room exclusively for lap dances, etc.

Unfortunately, the two times I went there the atmosphere of the club was different. Usually on weekday afternoons the club was a good mixture of both people and dancers. In its place is what I can best describe as "gangsta wannabees". The place was full of younger boyz who all must have watched too many episodes of "The Sopranos" (this from a Jersey boy himself). They clearly are there "to be seen". Well, if they want the place to be "Bada Bing" so be it - I'll simply continue to go elsewhere in the area for a nice, relaxing time with attractive women.
