A shark at the Dragon

I arrived in Portland late, checked into my hotel, grabbed a shower, and headed over to `Mary's Club` to satisfy my curiosity. After a brief, less than fruitful visit it was unfortunately closing time for a lot of the other clubs nearby, except for Golden Dragon which is open until 4am Sun-Thurs and 6am Fri/Sat. I walked up the stairs and into the second floor club, paid my cover, and got the lay of the land.

Golden Dragon is a full nude, 18+ club so no alcohol. It looks a bit dingy. I don't mind a dingy neighborhood club but this place looks like it is going for an upscale club look but missed the mark, missed the mark by a good distance. As you look into the club from the front desk there is a "bar" to your left where you can grab ones, water, soda, etc. Off to your right is a low stage surrounded by a square of bench couches. Straight back is the dividing wall beyond which are the dance rooms. I hung out for a bit on the couches by the stage, tipping 2 or 3 dancers. I get the impression that this is the kind of place where dancers try to bleed you dry with tips. It didn't take much time to realize that this isn't a club I'd like to spend much time in, so I started scanning the room for an eligible candidate to show me the dance rooms and complete my recon of this club.

I locked eyes with a raven haired dancer on the far side of the room. She was extremely pretty, well put together, and had a figure that was thick in all the best ways. Think Angela White if you're one to watch porn. She was, imho, the best looking dancer in the club by far. She came over to introduce herself as Annette and suggested we sit on the couch for a chat. Soon thereafter she proposed dances. I was more than amenable. A little more chat and she revealed that she's a traveling dancer. May have usually worked in Vegas? I've forgotten that detail but it would explain what followed as her sales game was a cut above the usual local dancer's. First stop was a "tour" to the private rooms. Way out of my budget, or at least what I was interested in spending in this ho-hum club. Back to the regular dance area and she quotes $240/3!!! Absolutely outrageous. She offered a more limited dance for less and I accepted since 1. I wanted that ass in my lap and those titties in my face, 2. I couldn't be bothered with any of the other dancers, and 3. I was tired, ready to leave, and had a long drive ahead of me the next day. The dance was enjoyable but I was glad to see the Golden Dragon in the rear view. I'm always happy to check another one off the list but I certainly won't make a return trip. I don't often find myself in Portland but when I do there are too many option to explore to bother returning to a sub-par club.
