Tiny club near the RLD with awkward dances
La Vie en Proost is a club located a block over from the main RLD street. Cover was $10 with an additional one-drink minimum. A bottle of water was $7.50. Change from my $10 was expected as a tip for the bartender's boobs, which were out. The club was a single small room with one straight bar and then a U-shaped bar in the back. Each had round stools fixed to the floor for seating. There were enough bar seats for maybe 15 patrons, and no other seating.
The dancers performed on the bar tops walking and dancing a bit while removing their outfits. They were thin and fit, except for one curvy one. Most ended up at least briefly nude, though a few only got topless. Dancers asked to provide dances as they moved along the bar top. Dances were $20/song and performed right at the stool. The space was very cramped and awkward. The dancers got down into my lap for a very minor grind and sort of moving around. Halfway through they'd turn around. General fondling of T&A was allowed. No one mentioned the possibility of private dances.
La Vie en Proost was the strip club I liked the least of those I tried in Amsterdam (the others being Hospital Bar and Bonton). There wasn't anything particularly wrong with it, but it was the smallest of three small clubs, had the least seating, and the most awkward dances. I wouldn't bother returning.
