I Tried To Tell You
My cousin from LA came to Atlanta and wanted to check out a club but he had a short turn around. He told me Goldrush was closest to where he was. I told him Goldrush can be hit or miss on dayshift. He insisted that no club in ATL is dead on dayshift. How was he going to tell me? I live here! I know the clubs. But Ok dummy. He just wanted to tell people he’d been in a ATL strip club. And I wanted an excuse to write this review.
It was 5 bucks for valet at 4:30. I self parked as did my cousin. Pat down from the celebrity-story-telling security man was not great but better than lots of places on dayshift in the A. The place actually looked nice. There is a bar right in front of you on entrance and a nice stage with chairs around it to the right of the first bar. Another bar is to the back. The bathrooms are to the right of the back bar. There are booths to the left and the right of the stage. There are also snack machines in there. And a cigarette machine. You know what wasn’t in there? Strippers. Might’ve been 8 dancers. More PLs than girls. The black drained off my cousins face.
I got a coke for 5 bucks and a Fiji water for 5 bucks at the back bar. Bartender was OK. Music was 2000s to now urban music. And it wasn’t that loud. One girl a light skinned 7 got on stage in an hour and only my cousin tipped her. The tip didn’t get him an approach for dances.
