Is This The 2nd Beat Dayshift in GA. I Think So.
This review covers 3 Saturdays. Layout is the same. Parking lot is dinky but HUGE. Best door man in the ATL did a complete pat down and run down of the rules.
There’s a poll and a bunch of tables and booths to the right of the bar which is on the left when you enter. Past the initial booths there are pool tables to the right and some more tables to sit and bathroom to the left. The sink is outside the bathroom. The door to the left is urinals, the door to the right is pot. Tipped the old man bathroom attendant a buck. He pays attention to the state of the bathroom and it’s clean. ESPN and NFL Network on the TV. Mix of modern and old school trap, coastal rap mixes of Bay/LA area hip hop and RnB from the late 90s to now as music.
Drinks are cheapish because they barely count. Got 5 cokes and a soda for 20 (8 total for cokes, 4 for a water bottle plus tip). Sometimes a plain dressed male tends bar and he’s fast: sometimes it’s a fat chick who’s good as well; sometimes there’s a decent looking chick she’s too slow behind the bar. Not a lot of weed smoke. Crowd was working class not that thuggish mostly black patrons. High nude factor totally nude dances. They get on stage to poll dance now but theres not that much tipping. I was told they don’t make the dancers do a rotation. DJ is both annoying and helpful. He pours insults from the booth, but he also plays the songs pretty long. Probably too long. He also cuts into the songs to talk instead of talking over the song which makes them longer.
